Boating on The Broads – (December and January excluded)

For longer breaks try the elite river cruisers, such as Sovereign Light and Olympic Light starting from £1036 for seven nights, excluding fuel and damage waiver. If you opt for Sovereign Light the boat is available on Monday’s and Friday’s for seven nights. Olympic off peak price is £826 available on Fridays, Saturdays or Mondays or Tuesdays for seven nights.


 

For a shorter break, a river cruiser, such as Evening Light starts from £347.00 for a family of four. If you’re looking for a larger boat, cruisers such as Amethyst Light sleeps six plus and range between £538 short break and £770 for seven night again, this excludes fuel and damage waiver.

The Royale Light boats are a real treat and a week is £1169 for seven nights and £817 for a short break.
These boats are equipped with ensuite cabins, a raised steering position, a warm air heating system and an LCD TV / DVD, as well as, other unique features depending on the boat.

Waterside Cottages

The Norfolk Broads are the UK’s largest protected wetland and as such, support many different species. From birds to mammals, the wildlife living on the Broads is richly varied and is a dream for twitchers. The area is home to bittern, the tufted duck, Canada geese and black headed gull, as well as the Chinese water deer and the Swallowtail butterfly.
